all day i have thought it was saturday...but it's friday...i'm still in holiday mode - i really need to keep nevin in his days of the week bibs - it's the only way i'll know what day it is...
what a week it has been...
on friday we drove down to my parents - which was a blast...being at my folks - not the drive... on saturday we went to a bbq at one of brian's aunt...it was great - the food was amazing, the conversation was great...there was his one man there who's one calf was the size of two of my thighs...it was gross...but on the plus side of things i was the thinnest young one there...
sunday we stayed around my parents and played with the kids...monday - well we were planning on going to wonderland, but with the rain we decided to go to chuck e cheese...man that was the most fun i have had in a long time...lisa was there - and she looks great (as usual)....and we had a great discussion about the competition going on between the two of us...she thinks it is funny that i'm trying to compete with her, when the whole reason that she is as fit as she is, is because of me..
canada day was amazing, we went down town and spent 5 hours walking around and seeing all the stuff and people..
i gained 2 pounds - which is not going to make or break my loss - it's just a set back...to help me out, i have found a web site which tracks your calorie intake and your activity calories burnt.. the problem is that it is different from my points...so i sat through a lecture from brian explaining how i have to go with ww because they not only look at the calories, but they take into account the fiber and fat - and that i'm losing - maybe not at the crazy loss as before - but the way that i am losing now, with the activity level that i have, it will be easier to maintain when i get to my goal...
so i have been running really well - wednesday i ran 5.5k in 48mins, and today i ran 6k in 50min - i'm getting there...
priya is asleep at my in law's so i hope brian and i have a full night sleep...

It sounds like you are getting into a good rhythm with the running! I can't wait to get back at it! Perhaps you wouldn't mind slowing you pace every now and again to let this tired old lady run with you sometime!!
