i think i'm in a bit of shock...is that okay that i don't know mj, but his music was so inspirational and influential to me and my life...wow - i can't believe that he's gone....
this has been a really long week...so everything was clear with nevin's x-rays....but he came down with a fever last wednesday and on saturday it still hadn't gone, and he started to get red spots all over his face and legs...i took him to the hospital as the dr couldn't do anything else for him, and they thought it was chicken pox...turns out that it wasn't chicken pox but just a virus...so i have spent the last two weeks trying to keep him calm and relaxed through his not eating or drinking, being cranky and irritable - so hence the non blogging...
tomorrow we are heading to makham for a few days...saturday is a bbq and monday is canada's wonderland...man am i excited about that...
btw - i still have 1/2 a pound till i hit my 3o pound mark...i'll get there...

Poor Nevin! I hope you guys are able to relax a bit in Markham with the extra hands around to watch N & P!
I hear you about MJ. I remember putting my name on a list at the old Moondance Records in Peterborough to get my copy of Thriller. It's hard to describe the feeling - even though I didn't know this man, he had an influence on my life, so I feel a sense of loss. It was kind of like the day Jim Henson died, but at least his legacy can live on. So can MJ's, but not in the same way.
Have a wonderful time at your parents'! I miss you!!!
It is really shocking about MJ, but he almost died in a way that made sense for him. Still famous, still young - and on the brink of a farewell tour.
Glad to see you back, and you're SO close to that goal! woo hoo!
Remember when we would blast the Jackson 5's, ABC in your room on 4th Gren to pump us up right before an exam? Good times!
