busy...busy...busy

the past week has been really busy...thursday i went for my WI and was down 0.5lbs - so only one left till i hit 30 - i don't think i'll make that this week - after i tell you about the week you will understand...

so saturday we had a garage sale...it was great - we started to set up at around 7am, kim decided to sell a few things as well, so we had her helping...by 7:30 we had our first few customers...nothing sold, but at least it was a start...by the time we packed up at 1 we sold a bunch of the bigger things and made close to $200 - which is all but gone now...following a several hour nap taken by all four of us, we headed over for pulled pork and cake at kim's to celebrate pat's birthday...btw these are our neighbours and nathan and noah's parents...it was great...i had a lot of fun...priya missed gymnastics - again...i think she's only gone to 3 classes this session...oh well...

sunday was swimming, which went of amazingly well..both kids were like fishes and listened really well, so after bathing them we packed them in the car headed off the canadian tire to reinvest the garage sale earnings back into the house...we purchased a couple of new water hoses, nozzles, a rake kit for priya, and some of those hose holder-upper thingys...after gardening (following nap time) we played for a little bit with nathan...

monday...well monday was fun...i was planning on volunteering at priya's school as they were taking a trip to the museum..but she woke up with a really nasty cough and cold...and the last thing i wanted to do was take her to a museum with a bunch of other parents staring and wondering why i didn't leave her home - and/or if she has the swine flu...so we rented a couple of movies, had popcorn and fruit popsicles and went to the park...both kids were amazing...i went for a run last night - made about 8K in 1:10...but it was a really tough run...

today we sent priya to daycare, but nevin is running a 101 temp and i'm not feeling too well..man oh man...what fun...

so about the whole WI this week...saturday priya put out a table with chocolate chip and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and asked for donations for when i do the CIBC Run for the Cure for breast cancer research...and as i was our for about 7 hours in the sun and hungry...well i have a daily limit of 26 points to eat (i'm still nursing 3 times a day) and i had a total of 41 points in cookies alone on saturday...up went way over my limit...then monday we ordered the works... why - cause i was hungry...so we'll see how things go...

right now i'm in bed - brian's at work - it's 9:40pm and priya is asleep beside me...man i have some cute kids...

i hope tomorrow is a healthy day for everyone...
